They have allot of moving parts that need some attention once a year.

Its biggest enemies are humidity -& air temperature -fluctuations & the salt in your sweaty hands. These elements cause corrosion over time.

 

That means moving parts don't move as they should. This affects the life & standard of all Instruments. The service fee is dependent on how much work the drum kit needs

It takes me between 4-7 hours to service & refurbish a drum kit. Depending how well it has been taken care of.
